Growing up in the small town of Mothotlung in North West, Oneile has seen firsthand how rural youth are often left behind due to limited access to educational opportunities. But instead of accepting this as the norm, she has chosen to take action. At just 16, she is already a force for change—dedicated to empowering young girls in her community and beyond by encouraging entrepreneurship and creating safe spaces where they can openly talk about the challenges they face.

Oneile’s passion for advocacy stems from a deep desire to break generational barriers that have long held women back—whether it’s due to teenage pregnancy, poverty, or a lack of access to quality education. She even stepped onto the national pageant stage, not just for the crown, but to amplify the voices of rural communities and call for real, lasting change.

As an EmpowHer Ambassador, Oneile is stepping into an even bigger role—one where she will continue to uplift, educate, and inspire young women to own their power, pursue their dreams, and take up space with confidence.
